Manaslu trekking is tea house trek
Manaslu region is still under development for tourism business. In the past, visiting the remote parts of Nepal was only possible by camping trekking for adventure holidays. Due to the increasing number of travelers, small lodges in the major places are being developed. So, now you can trek by staying on local lodges (tea houses) without camping in this famous trekking area. Manaslu trekking can be done either way - staying at lodges (tea-houses) or camping. Cost in our page is based on tea house trekking. Tea houses on the way is basic entirely.
Manaslu Trek need minimum 2 trekekrs
We need minimum 2 peoples to obtain Manaslu restricted area permit. If you are single traveler, you can join our group as per your suitable time. We might not have shown our total fixed departure dates in our web. Please mail us with your own date or trekking. Manaslu Trekking need at least two trekkers to obtain trekking permit. It is restricted trekking area and need special permit from immigration office of Nepal. Only registered trekking companies can issue this permit. Government license holder trekking guide is compulsory to lead you in this trekking.
Best time of the Year for Manaslu Trekking
The best season of trekking Manaslu is from March to May and September to November month. Winter season of December to February is too cold and raining season of June July and August months disturbed by heavy rainfall. Since it is remote area trekking, the best month to trek is much important.
Accommodation and foods during Manaslu trekking
Accommodation during this trekking is in local tea houses. Tea houses are compairing the less facilited than other famous trekking trail like Everest, Annapurna and Langtang region. So bring a good sleeping bag with you also important. Regarding foods, we use locally prepared foods on the way. Local tea houses provide us local types of breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Breakfast and dinner is in the same tea house we overnight. There are lunch places on the way at suitable place during the day time. You also can buy boild and filtered drinking water from local tea houses.
Trekking with professional trekking guide and supporter
This trek is long day trekking in the high altitude. It is important to make yourself more comfirtable without heavy luggage with you so that we recomend to take a supporter to carry your bag pack. A experience supportive guide is aslo the key to success your Manaslu trekking. We provide one supporter for two trekkers and a guide. If you require to carry much thing may be more than 10 kilogram per person, can hire another supporter with you. As per the government rules, a guide from profesional trekking company is require for this trekking.
Manaslu trek short itinerary
If you want to make short itinerary for this trek, it is possible. You can reach Machhakhola directly from Kathmandu at first day of trekking. Similarly can driving back to Kathmandu after Tilje. So there are 4 days posible to reduce from the itinerary to make your plan totally 15 days. In this way, a day extra in Kathmandu after trekking is also skipped.
Manaslu trekking for single trekker
Single trekker also can manage by joining with our group or can join our other group only for permit and can trek alone with our guide/ porter. We are flexible for single trekker. There will be changes in the cost but also have option to reduce the cost by using local transportation.
Packing list for Manalu Trekking
You are trekking in both temperature (Hot and cold), you need to pack suitable clothes accordingly. But do not pack too much. You are with one porter and he is able to carry total 20 kg from 2 trekkers.

- We provide you duffel bag to pack your trekking gears. You can come with any kind of bag till Kathmandu. Your suit case can safe deposit in Hotel and collect it after trekking.
