Rara Lake is completely untouched trekking area of Nepal. This is the very rural and less crowed trekking area. The major attraction is pristine blue Rara Lake at latitude of 2,990 miters in remote Mugu district. The trail is very much off the beaten path and provides glimpse of typical culture and different scenery of the country. More than 235 species birds are inside Rara National Park. Rara Lake Trek starts from Kathmandu. Itinerary is also including one full day stay in Kathmandu and explores major highlights inside valley. Fly or drive to Nepaljung and take remote area flight to Talcha Airport of Jumla. It has also option to drive but road is much adventure rough. It is 5 days to reach Rara Lake by trekking. One extra day as exploration in Rara and another 3 days trekking back to Jumla. Fly back to Nepaljung and same day connecting to Kathmandu.
